
The big Travel and Adventure Show is headed back to the Santa Clara Convention Center March 21-22, bringing its usual heady mix of destination inspiration, educational seminars and travel tips. Top experts on travel and adventure — including Rick Steves, Patricia “1,000 Places to See Before You Die” Schultz and Rudy Maxa of “Rudy Maxa World” — will deliver keynote talks on emerging destinations, value vacations and more.
Among the offerings: A virtual reality activity pavilion that immerses you in Yosemite’s epic landscapes, passport and Global Entry acceptance booths, 200 travel booths and 30+ seminars on everything from travel safety and packing hacks to planning that Arctic or Antarctic bucket list expedition.
Details: Advance tickets are $11 for one-day tickets and $18 for both days at www.travelshows.com. Tickets at the door will be $15 one day and $22 both days, cash only. Children 16 and under are admitted free with an adult. 5001 Great America Parkway. Parking is free.
